On June 5 council agenda there is a Bylaw staff report recommending denial of a sign variance application as it the proposed signage would advertise third party messaging which is contrary to our sign by law. When I first started reading this report I anticipated that I would reach a conclusion fairly quickly as I have always been very happy that we have resisted littering our roadsides with signs. . But I now understand that this is not just a “regular” billboard as it will employ use some sort of digital software. So before I say no to the variance application I want to know more.  The proponent will be making a presentation at Council.     If you wish to make a deputation and/or provide your comments in an email you need to register (or send that email) by noon June 5 to clerks@king.ca.  .
