19 Old King Road Re-Zoning

On September 29  there is a report on Council agenda recommending that where the lands of 19 Old King Rd. (the Nobleton Community Hall) be rezoned. Currently the zoning is “institutional.” The new zoning is “core area” which will enable the building to be repurposed for commercial use.  Previously the concept of a restaurant/pub had been approved by Council and the statutory public meeting for the change in zoning was held on September 8.  To my mind the proposed re-zoning Is how we move this property into a situation where it contributes to the neighborhood we are trying to create in this area of Nobleton.
