2023 Operational Performance

Apr 13, 2024 | Miscellaneous | 0 comments

On April 15 Council agenda there is a report presenting the 2023 service performance report. This is a new annual report.  Its purpose is to provide a review of the municipalities’ operational performance from both a volume/demand and quality/value perspective. The rationale for the report is to be accountable to taxpayers and to show what kind of service is being delivered and whether it’s good service. The summary of 2023 performance is that for those measures quality/value related 87% have seen improvements from 2022 and that for volume measures 70% had increases from 2022. There are 136 high performance measures (HPM) being tracked; they include building inspections, completion of capital projects, bylaw orders, facility bookings, grass cutting and 131 more as reviewed in the report.

As always you can participate in the Council and make a deputation on this motion  in person or virtually.  For details on how to do please see Council agenda.  Or you can send an email to clerks@king.ca by Monday noon with your comments, questions.
