On September 11 Council agenda there is a recommendation for sourcing of services to implement rehabilitation of existing asphalt roads, guide rails, culvert replacements and shouldering on 5 defined roads.  As reviewed the 2023 budget included $1.6 million for such work.  The roads and work selected is based on the most recent roads work need study.  One of the segments is Keele Street from Lloydtown Aurora Road to Kettleby Road; I assume that is a pre-requisite to uploading that portion to York Region.  Intent to send a resolution to York Region requesting such was included in a June 12 report which Council approved.

The 5 identified road segments are:

• 19th Sideroad from 11th Concession to 10th Concession
• Carrying Place Trail
• Keele Street from Lloydtown-Aurora Rd to Kettleby Road –
• Jane Street from Woodchoppers Lane to Edward Ave.
• Jane Street from Davis Drive (Highway 9) to South Canal Bank Road
