On February 27 Council agenda there is a staff report recommending the various steps required to implement an alternative system called administrative monetary penalties (AMPS) for parking violations. I’m very pleased to see to read how once again we are collaborating with other municipalities to develop a process.  And the proposal to appoint Hearing Officers and using Hearing Officer Services in the town of Newmarket as opposed to operating independently on our own sounds very efficient.
