On April 4 agenda there is Staff report about Animal Services; specifically it recommends new contract with Vaughan to continue providing services.  Those services include investigating complaints about domestic dogs (running at large, nuisance barking), emergency response to injured domestic animals, animal shelter, enforcing bylaws, reporting instances of cruelty.  As reviewed in the report the costs for providing all this service is increasing in past few years.    Its great to see that Staff have been able to negotiate continuation of the services at a reduced fee as we move forward.
