On September 12 Council agenda there is a report Identifying capital projects to be closed and allocation of any surplus funds. Reading this report provides confidence that our capital dollars are being well managed. I also see evidence of King Staff being creative in how they are responding to supply chain challenges: there was a budget for buying a new single axle 4×4 dump truck but it could not be found because of shortages due to global demand. Instead of buying a new  truck the decision was made to retrofit an existing truck that is underutilized. The report also identifies when projects have required additional funding and how that was done.
