Looking for a one-of-a-kind holiday gift? From farm-fresh honey and baked goods to soaps, candles, and quilts, browse handcrafted treasures made by local artisans at the annual One of a King Handmade Holiday Market on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 3-7p.m. at the King Heritage and Cultural Centre. And while you are there go into the Heritage and Cultural Centre (HCC) to see the Trees of Giving!  Each year HCC hosts this fund raiser.  In 2023 the funds will be donated to the Oak Ridges Moraine Trails Association (ORTA) who maintains their wonderful trails for public to use.   Each of the trees have been decorated by our local community groups.  You can express your appreciation about the creativity of any of the trees or selecting your favourite by dropping your token(s) into the bucket by that tree.  Tokens cost $2.00 each.
