Thursday 3/23 York Region Transit (YRT) and VIVA are hosting their annual public information session at the Township Office from 4-8PM. This is your opportunity to provide feedback to YRT/VIVA on either current service or on what you would like to see in the future.  One service I am going to be asking about is the “dial-a-ride” pilot in Georgina. Conceptually this strikes me as one of the practical ways that we could begin to have transit service in the rural areas.  Here is the formal notice about the meeting.
