Great Exhibit about the Women in the Great War Effort

The special exhibit, King Remembers The Great War 1914-1918 with focus on Women’s Roles in the War Effort  is very much worthy of a visit.  Its on at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre un11/24.  Even if you consider yourself a scholar on the topic I bet you will learn something new.  We all know how Hollywood celebrities entertained the troops in WWII; but who knows about Lena Ashwell entertaining the troops in 1915 in railway stations and on docks?

In addition to seeing the exhibition its an opportunity to really see how wonderful the new space at the Museum is and how well it is being used.
