Are you interested to know how much King will grow through to 2051? If so, come to the Public Open House on Monday, Sept. 6-8 p.m., with a presentation starting at 6:30p.m. at the Municipal Centre. How much King will grow, how much land is required for employment, how many jobs there will be are the issues for which strategies are being developed and incorporated into the new Official Plan.

I’m curious and would like to know if the new residential developments in and around King City are mandated to have sidewalks. If not, is the Township going to supply transportation for these new residents to get to their medical appointments or to do their grocery shopping at the poorly stocked, over priced Copas?
