I don’t. Fall is sad. It marks the last moments for much of the wild, free world of summer. There is one concession – the colors.

Then comes the dark – longer and longer every day until about Christmas.
After that it is a lot of boredom. Nature knows all this, that is why it instigated hibernation.

    But not so fast….
Bored!? So hey, watch the sunset at Christmas – mark the spot on the horizon. Then do it again the next day or a few days later. In those few days the spot on the horizon for sunset has moved northward. You are cheered! You are caught, snagged, hoodwinked. The sun is ‘coming back’. Yipper!

But you knew that all along. And if you want real boredom, moved to the equator.

Now I am going to go look for my snow shovel somewhere in our garage.
