Community Services is launching a pilot program allowing residents to book last-minute ice rentals at the Trisan Centre online at king.ca/bookafacility. The program will launch at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19 just in time for the holiday break. Renters will be offered a 30% reduction on any unsold ice—including all non-prime and prime ice times booked during the last-minute window, which is 24 to 72 hours in advance of the ice time selected. If the pilot program is successful, staff will continue to offer this service and roll it out in all Township arenas, including the new Township Wide Recreation Centre, by fall 2024.
