On May 12th Council agenda there is a staff report for Nobleton Municipal Capital Facility Agreements (MCFA). There are to be two: one between the Township and two developers who have projects underway in Nobleton and one between the Township and another developer who has a project underway. The agreements have been requested by the developers for the purposes of providing voluntary contributions to partially fund municipal capital facilities for core area revitalization projects in the Village of Nobleton. The voluntary contributions are provided after the land owner receives necessary approvals through the typical public planning process for the project. With a MCFA the developer is assured of receiving allocation of sewer and water capacity subject to restrictions identified in the report
I’m very glad to see that somehow the MCFA includes the rehabilitation conservation of the Hambly House heritage property. I am going to be asking how this is to be achieved as we have been so disappointed for many years as to how property has been allowed to deteriorate.
As always deputations can be made. To do so please register at clerks@king.ca by noon on May 12 or If you prefer you can e-mail your comments to clerks@king.ca and they will be distributed to Council members and appropriate staff.
