On June 17 agenda there is a report recommending approval of an endorsement request by the Schomberg Brew Works; specifically, to endorse their applications for a“By-The-Glass” and “Retail store” licenses. As reviewed in the report this is to enable the establishment of a nano-brewery at 203 Main St in Schomberg. Since seeing the site at an early stage and learning about the vision I am delighted to see that the proprietor has reached this stage. From the report it is clear that he is following the necessary steps in a very methodical way. I think its an excellent addition to Main Street.
Feels like a very grown-up thing to do. Schomberg’s Main Street is such a convivial small town promenade…maybe it’s time to close it to traffic in the summer (just along the social hub stretch).
