On November 10 Council agenda there is report reviewing a new Building By-law to replace the current one.  As reviewed in the report the new one is entirely appropriate as there is need to be consistent with changes to the Ontario Building Code.  It also includes several changes to make it more effective. I am particularly pleased to see there will now be a requirement for verification of farm business registration in order to ensure that it is only bona fide farm operations getting the benefit of lower permit fees.
