At the January 8th Council meeting the new bylaw to regulate signs and other advertising devices is on the agenda. As reviewed in the report it is very much like the draft one presented in December. I know that many readers will be pleased to see the clear unambiguous prohibition of “bag signs.” These are the ones which tend to pop up anywhere advertising services. They were prohibited before but such was not as clear. As I said earlier I am pleased that this bylaw has been crafted with full engagement of Chamber of Commerce.
Do you have a sign bylaw pertaining to signs on residential properties, in particular, Estate Residential properties, also advertising stickers placed on stop signs?
Hi Arlene, Defacing stop signs is serious; when you see one you can call By-law. There are no special rules for estate residential. What is the problem. Perhaps more productive to call me at 289 221 2472.
