On September 15 Council agenda there is a report addressing an applicationfor a heritage permit to permit works, funded wholly by the proposed tenants, to the Nobleton Community Hall.  The report identifies the specifics and reviews the rationale for approving the solutions to be implemented.  Of the seven works being proposed three are of particular importance as they are identified in the designation bylaw for the Nobleton Community Hall. Specifically, the concrete block construction, exterior stairway and doorway and asphalt roof shingles  are included in the list of heritage attributes; Any alteration of them must be approved.  Here are renderings illustrating the scope and nature of the proposed works which have been provided by the applicant. As the Township is the owner of the building the permit application has been done by the Township on behalf of the proposed tenants.

As always deputations can be made. To do so please register at clerks@king.ca by noon on  Sept. 15 or If you prefer you can e-mail your comments to clerks@king.ca and they will be distributed to Council members and appropriate staff. To see all the appendices of the report go to Council agenda and scroll to 9.2.
