In the February 22nd Council meeting there is a report summarizing the outcomes of two audits (an internal one and an external surveillance audit.)  Both are required under the Safe Drinking Water Act in support of the Township’s Municipal Drinking Water License. In both audits outcomes were :  no non-conformances and 3 or 4 opportunities for improvement.  You can read the report here.   To access  all appendices see the meeting agenda and scroll down.  These reports are valuable; it reassures us that the revenue from our water rates are being effectively used.  Recall at last Council meeting an increase of 4% in the water rate for 2021 was approved; the blended rate (sewer and water) increase approved was 2.87%).
