Welcome to my blog!  MY primary objective is to alert my constituents and others in King Township about issues being reviewed at the upcoming Council meetings.  I do this as I believe the quality of Council decisions is enhanced when the public is engaged.  I hope that residents will make deputations and/or send emails to Council to express their opinion and/or to ask important questions.  Also, I include notice of meetings and events which I think are particularly important.   I welcome your comments, whether you agree or not with me, and only edit to eliminate inappropriate language.

A Main Street Christmas

Once again, there will be a non-traditional "A Main Street Christmas" celebration. Like last year the focus is on a Farmers' Parade of Lights/drive through in the Agricultural Fairgrounds. Holiday Light Tour

Registration to have your decorated home and trees on the 2021 Holiday Light Tour closes November 30.  Soon after that date people who love taking a tour to see the lights will be able to buy a map showing the registered properties.  Christmas in King will be donating funds to the King Township Foodbank.

Craft Sales in King Nov. 27 & 28

Saturday, Nov.27  (10-2pm) you can see and buy crafts at the Heritage & Cultural Centre where the one of a kind handmade holiday market is happening AND at Kingcrafts  where the artisans who work at that collective offer their work for sale from 10AM-4PM). On Sunday, Nov. 28 Kingscrafts  is also open (10-4).
