Public Works has initiated a Township‑wide pothole blitz focused on repairing roadway defects as quickly as conditions permit, with priority given to higher‑traffic roads and locations with safety concerns.

The Township is also leveraging its CityROVER AI pothole detection technology, which uses vehicle‑mounted analysis to automatically identify and map potholes across the road network. This data‑driven approach improves visibility of road conditions and supports more efficient prioritization and deployment of resources.

Residents are encouraged to report potholes through Service King (serviceking@king.ca or 905 833 5321).

Submissions from the public help supplement automated detection and allow staff to respond more quickly to emerging issues, particularly as weather conditions continue to fluctuate.  For more information see here.
