In case you have forgot:  Project MOVE is the initiative to move the Township office to the former Holy Name school site.   On 4/4 Council agenda there is recommendation for to critcial decisions:  selection of Prime consultant and architectural services; and determination of  methodology for procurement purposes.  I think the process for the latter is a good one but I will have questions at Council about one of the factors in the selection criteria: namely, the need to provide flexibility to us for making changes in design and during construction.  I hope to be told that the flexibility will be very limited and that any changes required will be subject to a pretty rigorous change management discipline.  I am very pleased to see in the report that we are not losing sight of the necessity of making this change in a very fiscally prudent way and hence Staff is working on a zoning bylaw amendment for the current town office site.  MOVE has a very aggressive schedule goal:  fall 2017.
