On April 14 Council agenda there is motion by Councillor Asselstine which has been seconded by Councillor Anesty regarding salt pollution from road salt.  .   Here is the motion. I am  very supportive as  salt levels in Ontario’s groundwater aquifers, creeks, rivers, and lakes have increasingly worsened since the 1970s, threatening municipal drinking water sources and aquatic life.  But i recognize that the solution is not elimination.
