At Council on February 26 there is a report from our Economic Development Officer about the opportunity to receive funds from the Rural Economic Development program to be directed towards revitalization of Main Street in Schomberg.  As we have initiatives already budgeted for projects which are targeted to this outcome we are well positioned to take advantage of the program; specifically we are eligible to receive $52,000 over two years.
