Even though we are in the midst of enjoying the fruits and vegetables from our gardens its time to think about the challenges of the next season.  I am thinking of winter and the snow.  The Township is now accepting applications for the Snow Removal Assistance Program for eligible households where all members are aged 65 or older, or where no person over the age of 12 is physically able to remove snow. The service clears one car-width of snow deposited by snow. 

Eligible residents can apply online at king.ca/SnowRemoval. Applications and supporting documentation can also be submitted by email to serviceking@king.ca. Alternative formats are available upon request by calling Service King at 905-833-5321.  Here are more details. Applications must be submitted by October 30.
