Staff report on the SigNature development at McClure/Keele is before Council 5/26.  This development has dramatically changed from its  original incarnation of  49 units (including 45 townhomes); it is now for 18 detached homes.  The change is a direct result of significant engagement by the adjacent established community and the willingness of Signature to truly listen to the concerns & ideas of the latter.  The residents are to be commended for their attitude and effort on this;  there is change and they are truly influencing it.  I have some questions for Staff  about some of the details yet to be resolved.

If all the applications included in the report are approved work on the site will begin.  Earlier other important approvals were given: specifically for site alteration and for a lease for a trailers to serve as a sales office in the parking area of former Holy Name.
