At June 27 Council there is a report on a very important first step towards executing the vision of new recreational facility in King Township; specifically an indoor and outdoor facility on the southeast corner of Seneca College on Dufferin Street.  The report at Council is the Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) between Township and Seneca covering the  ground lease of 25 acres for 60 years. As identified in the report there is significant work yet to be done before there will be any work at the site, and before anyone will be able to lace up their skates or to do some laps in the pool but we are now firm on where the facility will be.
