Share your input on King’s transportation network and waste collection services at the Public Open House on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 6–8 p.m. at Zancor Centre. Drop in to explore Transportation Master Plan (TMP) updates, draft recommendations, and future plans. No formal presentations—just open conversation.

At this third Public Open House on the  the Transportation Master Plan Township will:

• Provide an overview of the TMP study and development process;
• Share key feedback received from the first two open houses held on October 29, 2024 and April 15, 2025;
• Share the evaluation of the five network alternatives and the preliminary recommendations;
• Seek feedback on recommended active transportation strategy update, goods movement, parking, road safety, traffic calming, transportation technology and emerging trends policies;
• Gather feedback on the phasing of the recommendations, future studies, any associated costs, and what the Township’s role will be; and
• Identify next steps in the TMP study process

In addition there will be opportunity to provide feedback on waste services and automated cart collection for garbage and organics.   The Township is reviewing its waste collection contract which expires 2028.  .
