Join the tree planting at Tyrwhitt Park on Saturday May14 10 am to 12 noon. It’s a rain or shine event; dress appropriately and bring a filled water bottle. You must register to participate.  Its hosted by Neighbourhood Network and Lake Simcoe Regional Conservation Authority.  Its a great opportunity for many reasons:

• .you will learn more about planting a tree so that it will thrive and one day provide a shady place to rest. 
• you will be taking action to respond to climate change; a tree sequesters carbon
• you will be doing something good for the future as you have fun with your community
