I have pleased to see this Staff report and only regret that it is has taken this long.  As reviewed, one year ago we directed Staff to develop a policy and to include funds for such in 2015 budget.  I think the recommended policy strikes the right balance between directing would-be consumers/buyer and tourists to our agri-businesses and our desire to protect the aesthetic pleasure of driving through rural countryside.  I agree with the principle of subsidizing the signage; I am interested to understand the degree proposed given the proposed one time fee of $200 per directional sign requested by a business.
