Citizen Survey Results

On April 24 Council agenda there is a report reviewing the learnings and results of the 2023 King citizen survey which was conducted in February 2023.  This is the first time that such a survey has been conducted.  As noted in the report the results of the random survey are statistically significant and can be considered accurate and reliable in representing the entire Township. Given this it is very satisfying to see that i)  95% of citizens agree that the quality of life in King is good to very good; ii)   that nine in ten citizens agree that King is a great place to raise a family; iii)  that 80% of citizens are satisfied with the overall quality of municipal services. The survey also very importantly identifies areas where the degree of positivity it’s not as great as the stats that I have just listed. The survey will provide insight which will be valuable as we develop the2023-2026 strategic plan and the next budget. There will be a presentation about the survey results at the beginning.

The Council chambers are open to the public once again.   To make a deputation (either in person or virtually) register with the Clerk by noon Monday, April 24 at clerks@king.ca.  You can also email your questions or comments on same timing to clerks@king.ca and they will be circulated to Council and appropriate Staff.
