On June 15 Council agenda there is a report regarding the clean out of culverts and channels (one in Kingscross and one in Nobleton). The report is seeking approval to single source without a RFP with TRCA. As reviewed there is good reason for this procurement decision. I can’t speak for the issue in Nobleton but I do know that the one in Kingscross is long overdue. As we have just agreed to fund a stormwater maintenance program I hope that we will become more nimble in responding to such problems and ideally we will start dealing with it before there is flooding. If you wish to make a deputation and/or provide your comments in an email you need to register (or send that email) by noon June 12 to clerks@king.ca. .
I appreciate your reports. But would you please spell out acronyms once before using them.
Thank you.
And by the way, I am still waiting for that Kingscross swail clean-out promised by the responsible department two weeks ago to happen before today, June 23.
Trulu…thank you for “rapping my knuckles” abut acronyms. I try but have evidently been careless.
I will follow up on your comment about a swail clean out.
