On April 11 council agenda there is a report presenting an engagement strategy for the King Climate Action Plan.  Like many I am disappointed that it has taken this long to have this plan as the Council direction to develop it was given when the Action Plan was tabled in January 2022.  I am very pleased with the engagement plan’s emphasis on youth which defined as ages 12-29.  Its evident that the outreach over the next 5 months has been well thought out.

The Council chambers are open to the public once again.   To make a deputation (either in person or virtually) register with the Clerk by noon Tuesday, April 11 at clerks@king.ca.  You can also email your questions or comments on same timing to clerks@king.ca and they will be circulated to Council and appropriate Staff.
