Items Accepted at Community Electronic Recycling Events: Televisions, monitors, desk tops, phones, printing, copying and scanning equipment, stereos, speakers, digital media, video game consoles, projectors, microphones, cameras, calculators, lighting, power tools, small appliances, stationary and portable audio/video systems.
Why does Community Services periodically host an Electronic waste event? (e-waste) items such as televisions, computers, cameras, video game consoles, printers, and DVD players are not collected through regular curbside pick-up and do not belong in the garbage or blue box. Electronic waste items can contain valuable resources and hazardous materials that need to be recycled, reused, or disposed of responsibly.
