King Township’s Community Grant Program aims to support eligible community groups, organizations and individuals that prioritize activities, events and initiatives that support the Township’s Recreation and Community Master Plan five main goals: Active Living, Inclusion and Access, Connecting People and Nature, Supportive Environments and Recreation Capacity. Applications for King Township’s Community Grant Program through Enrich King are now open for 2026, with the application deadline of November 1st, 2026.

The Enrich King program aims to streamline access to funding and support for residents, organizations and other community groups in King Township. It amalgamates four different funding streams, the Community Assistance Program, Heritage Property Grants, the Community Improvement Plan, and the Community Grant Program into a centralized, online platform, that will simplify the process of obtaining funding, donations, and in-kind services.

Over $17,000 was granted in 2024 with this number increasing in 2025 to a total of $33,000 that was awarded to various groups for community events and other impactful initiatives.
