Metrolinx is hosting public meetings as part of the assessment process for the expansion of GO Trains service, specifically the network electrification. The line going through King City (the Barrie corridor) is in the study area. The nearest meeting is in Aurora at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic HIgh School, 278 Welling St. East, Aurora on Wednesday, February 17 6:30-8PM. Hello Debbie – thanks for the notice. Note: I think that the meeting on March 7 at St Joan of Arc CHS (1 St Joan of Arc Ave, Maple) may be closer for a number of people (I think it is about 5km closer from the Keele St/King Rd than the St. Maximillian location in Aurora). Either way – there are two fairly convenient options for those interested.
