Now is the time to nominate a heritage building in King which inspires you.  The 2019 Heritage Award is now receiving nominations.  Criteria is simple:  a building which you admire and are pleased to see being cared for by its owners.  You may admire it because of: its association with historical event; or it contributes to your sense of place; or it is of unique architecture. The building does not need to be either listed or designated on the heritage register.  Nomination period closes July 2.  Here is more information about the award and how to submit your nomination.  The owners of selected property will receive a rendering of their property by a local artist.
