York Regional Police is inviting members of the community to an information session following the release of a high-risk offender in King Township. It will take place Sunday, Dec. 13, beginning at 2 p.m., at the Trisan Centre, 25 Dillane Drive in Schomberg. Members of the YRP?High-Risk Offenders Unit and crime prevention officers will be available. Representatives from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Probation and Parole, and the residential facility where the offender is currently living, have been invited to attend.  Here is press release.
