It is so unfortunate that the Kettleby Fair was cancelled.  But the deluge of rain made the morning preparations impossible in a safe manner. This was to be the 36th fair!  And this is the first cancellation.

There are so many reasons that the cancellation is unfortunate.  So many volunteers spent so many hours and so much energy preparing.  For many of the Township’s community organizations the Fair is an excellent opportunity to earn money.  And of course, for the hundreds who were planning to go the fun is missed.

Big thanks to all those who worked so hard and never got the “pay back” of seeing the happy faces at the Fair.

I am sure I can say that along with all those who had been planning to go, I look forward to next year!
