Due to the COVED-19 pandemic, Recreation, Library and Cultural programming and Facilities are being cancelled/closed through to April 5th. Additionally,  the King Township Municipal Centre will be closed to the public until April 6 at 8:30 AM.  Essential services like fire & emergency, roads and waste collection will continue.  This difficult decision has been made with guidance from York Region Public Health and  in abundance of caution for both staff and residents.   Here is the press release with more details.   And to see any future notices about King related COVID-19  news see here.

Does this mean that the Women’s Institute/Nobleton Lions Club Community Hall in Nobleton will not be able to be rented to the Nobleton King City Horticulture for their meeting in March?

Nancy, King’s facilities are closed. Neither Township programming nor events/meeting organized by the public can access them.
