Thursday, Febraury 18 at 7PM there is an open house hosted by the developer for the project called King Hill and Janeking. These projects are south of King Road east of Jane. Established neighbourhoods on Collard and Burns may be particularly interested given their proximity to the lands , although not necessarily adjacent; in addition the community north of King Road (King View) around the Heritage & Cultural Centre will also be interested to learn what is proposed for the lands across the street. And, obviously those living on South Summit Road will be interested. You must register to join the digital open house. As indicated on the invitation, you can register by emailing jdekkema@mgp.ca. I strongly urge you to be on time as there will be some sort of presentation at the beginning.
This is NOT the statutory public meeting which will be held March 1. If you are interested in these projects and cannot attend the February 18 open house you can email the same address above and indicate your interest to be on future email list. This February 18 meeting is being hosted by the developer to give the public an opportunity to learn more about the proposal; and its an opportunity to ask questions directly to the developer. The staff report for the statutory public meeting on March 1 will be on the published agenda which will be posted February 25.
