Notification has been sent to those living on Kingscross Drive about an imminent project to replace a culvert. Notifications provide date of road closure (beginning August 21), specifically where and alternative route. The closure will be inconvenient but is required to ensure continued viability of the route as the current culvert is old and at end of life. And I know that for those on Kingsworth Rd. there will be extra traffic.
If we see speeding on the alternate route will police or town be reactive to deal with it?

EPWB has responded to the concern about speeding as follows: To accommodate for the detour route, temporary traffic display boards (one in each direction) will be erected which will display drivers speeds and should aid in slowing down vehicles.
