On October 9 Council agenda there is a staff report covering the lease with York Region Police covering the YRP substation located at the new King Township Town Hall.  As reviewed in the report YRP has contributed $1 million towards the Town Hall of which total cost is $21.5 million; in addition YRP will pay annual rent, and will pay its proportionate share of operating costs and its share of depreciation costs.  King residents and businesses will benefit considerably with YRP being located here.  And as the lease details indicate their decision to be here is helping us have a sustainable cost structure for the facility.
