At May 7th Council there will be a presentation to Council by our legal council about the new Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT) which has replaced the OMB.  Purpose is to inform Council about this new process.  I anticipate it will review what can be appealed, timeline requirements for decisions by LPAT.  Earlier I have reviewed my perspective on the impact of LPAT on citizens in terms of how their engagement in issues is affected by the new protocols and regulations.
