King Township is launching a community-driven planning exercise to shape the future of priority core areas in the villages of King City and Nobleton. This initiative aims to establish a vision, plan and implement land-use regulations for Doctors Lane in King City and Old King Road in Nobleton, to ensure a vibrant and sustainable community for residents. Ideas from community members are wanted. The first round of public engagement is scheduled for April 16 and 18 6-8PM. On the 16th focus is on Old King Road (Nobleton); on 18th focus is the Doctor’s Lane area (King City).
For these open houses residents are invited to drop in and to engage with the project team, learn more about the project and provide input on the vision and guiding principles. You can learn more at the project page on Speaking; specifically I recommend watching the short video at the bottom of the page. Participation is not exclusive to those who are residents in King City and Nobleton! If you have interest in how these areas in these two villages may evolve and you have ideas about such please get involved.
