Nobleton Community Hall

The Council agenda for Tuesday, June 17 (note: not Monday) includes a staff report providing an update on the Nobleton Community Hall. As reviewed there is an interested party to lease the building and to make necessary investments in order to operate it as a pub and restaurant. Pending receiving direction from Council staff will complete negotiations  with the interested party. I think this is really an excellent opportunity.  It is adaptive reuse of a heritage facility.   The new use fits in well with the plans for future core area development. The lease proposal (although not yet finalized) is such that it will defer municipal responsibility asset management.

As always deputations can be made. To do so please register at clerks@king.ca by noon on  June 17 or If you prefer you can e-mail your comments to clerks@king.ca and they will be distributed to Council members and appropriate staff.
