As the Oak Ridges Moraine (ORM) is a very significant landform which influences King significantly and for which King has stewardship responsibility, the speaker at the AGM for Concerned Citizens of King Township (CCKT) is very timely.  Steven Gilchrist was one of the planners who worked on the creation of the ORMCP >20 years ago; and, he has continued to monitor and comment on development proposals threatening the ORM.  In 2021 he deputated at King Council regarding the rural draft zoning bylaw and has commented on the proposal for longterm care (LTC) facility at MarylakeMonastery.  Here are more details;  it is great that we have the choice on April 6 to hear Mr. Gilchrist at Laskay or to registering to hear him on zoom.
