Rosie (Rosannagh) MacLennan won the gold medal at 2012 Olypmics with her perfect score on the trampoline.
Everyone loves to see a great performer receive the gold. And everyone is proud when they have some connection to the gold medal winner; so that means all of King Township is ever so proud, particularly those in Ward 5 as Rosie MacLennan lives “down our street”. A few of us were fortunate enough to be at the airport on Monday afternoon to witness her triumphant return to Canada.

It’s great to see Rosie rewarded for her wonderful focus and hard work in training. Her graciousness and generosity are excellent character traits.
