Welcome to my blog!  MY primary objective is to alert my constituents and others in King Township about issues being reviewed at the upcoming Council meetings.  I do this as I believe the quality of Council decisions is enhanced when the public is engaged.  I hope that residents will make deputations and/or send emails to Council to express their opinion and/or to ask important questions.  Also, I include notice of meetings and events which I think are particularly important.   I welcome your comments, whether you agree or not with me, and only edit to eliminate inappropriate language.

New Commercial Uses on Hwy 27

On June 27 Council agenda there is a Staff report recommending approval of a zoning bylaw amendment to change the permitted commercial uses at  12840 Hwy 27 in Nobleton.  The statutory public meeting was conducted June 6.  I am in full support. Important Agenda Update for June 27

Contrary to usual practise Council will start at 5PM onJune 27.   As usual you can listen and watch by livestream. Also, the agenda does not include s report recommending approval of the new draft zoning bylaw for the countryside which had been anticipated.  It has been deferred to September, 2022.

Site Plan Approval Delegated to Staff

On the June 27th Council agenda item there is a report recommending a new bylaw to cover the topic of Site Plan Control in King Township.
