Welcome to my blog!  MY primary objective is to alert my constituents and others in King Township about issues being reviewed at the upcoming Council meetings.  I do this as I believe the quality of Council decisions is enhanced when the public is engaged.  I hope that residents will make deputations and/or send emails to Council to express their opinion and/or to ask important questions.  Also, I include notice of meetings and events which I think are particularly important.   I welcome your comments, whether you agree or not with me, and only edit to eliminate inappropriate language.

Meet the Federal Election Candidates

Update to Transportation Plan

As posted earlier....Residents are invited to attend one of the scheduled information sessions on the Transportation Plan to comment on issues experienced when travelling around King and to provide input on how to improve the network.  For full detail on meetings see here:  its Oct. 1 in King City, Oct. 2 in Nobleton and October 8 in Schomberg; all are 6pm-8pm.

Holland Marsh Soupfest

The delicious annual Holland Marsh Soupfest is this Saturday, Oct. 5.  It is 11-3 but if you really want to taste as many soups as possible I urge you to go early.  And I encourage you to buy ticket(s) online to avoid a lengthy queue and to take advantage of lower entry fee.

Draft OP: proposed to be adopted
